Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: to help as many people as possible discover the significance and enjoyment of slow observation of a work of art

The project officially started in 2010 and since then Slow Art Day has become an integral part of the program of museums and galleries internationally, with more than 1,500 events taking place annually in every corner of the world, even in Antarctica.

During the Slow Art Day at B& Foundation, audiences  of all ages are encouraged, following some simple steps, to slow down the way they observe Art and to experience, through this process, a powerful and possibly unprecedented experience. A few more minutes of contemplation in front of a work allow us to grasp and understand it better, but can also be the starting point for an interesting and constructive discussion with friends.
