Explore the Wonders of Ancient Greek Civilization in a Stunning Exhibition

The “Ancient Greece” Exhibition, which has captivated audiences since its opening, will be running until January 31, 2025, at the Olympic Center in Goudi, Athens. This immersive, interactive thematic park, presented by Placebo Events, transports visitors of all ages to the heart of Ancient Greek civilization. Directed by Sotiris Tsafoulias and curated by renowned historian and academic Thanos Veremis, it offers a unique and educational journey through Greek mythology, culture, city-states, arts, sciences, and the remarkable history of Ancient Greece.

The exhibition spans an impressive 1,500 m² area, where visitors will have the chance to admire the grandeur of ancient Greek culture and mythology up close. It features significant aspects of Ancient Greece, including Athens, Sparta, Macedonia, Troy, Thermopylae, the Great Philosophers, the Twelve Gods, Art, Science, and Architecture.

Key highlights include the exploration of Ancient Greek Mathematics and Physics, groundbreaking inventions, ancient Greek theater, and their influence on the world through hands-on experiments. Visitors can also admire impressive statues of Atlas, Heracles, Achilles, Leonidas, Alexander the Great, Zeus, and the goddess Athena, as well as massive replicas of the Trojan Horse and Trireme, the warship that helped Athens dominate the Mediterranean.

Thanks to the use of AI technology, Ancient Philosophers and Scientists come to life, sharing their monumental achievements. A generous contribution from the graduate laboratory of Columbia University adds depth to this experience.

This exhibition is a collaboration between Placebo Events and the International Thessaloniki Fair (TIF), with the support of three major ministries: Education, Tourism, and Culture.

The Ancient Greece Exhibition is guided by professional actor-guides who reveal captivating information throughout the tour, making this journey through history an unforgettable experience for both adults and children.
