June Events at the “Maria Callas” Museum: Music, Education, and Guided Tours

During June evenings, the balcony on the 3rd floor of the Museum offers a great view of the Acropolis. Guests can enjoy aperitifs while listening to pianist Thanos Margetis play beautiful melodies. Visitors can also explore the museum’s exhibition floors during this time.

World Environment Day is honored through an educational program for children aged 4-7, aimed at enhancing their environmental awareness, while Sunday activities for the younger visitors of the Museum (8 months to 3 years old) continue with creative storytelling sessions, full of theatrical, musical, and artistic games.

Additionally, in June, free guided tours continue for visitors over 65 every Thursday, as well as free guided tours in English on the last two Wednesdays of the month.

Every Thursday, the Maria Callas Museum offers free guided tours to visitors over 65 years old as part of the ticket price, inviting them to experience the museum and discover the great soprano and the art of opera.

A museum exclusively dedicated to the work and personality of the great diva. Among the exhibits are unique items from the life and career of this multifaceted artist, who with her wide range and unique vocal color, her sound palette, stage presence, and musical knowledge, managed to forever change the world of opera.

A visit to the museum is a comprehensive experience that activates all the senses. Visitors explore the world of opera and the great diva through an experiential journey, enriched with audiovisual media, texts, new technologies, audio and historical evidence.
