Athens is hosting the Vegan Green Festival, a three-day event dedicated to promoting veganism, organic products, and eco-friendly practices. Taking place from June 7 to 9 at Zappeion as part of the 2nd Athens Green Festival, the event aims to support small businesses that prioritize sustainability and fair working conditions.
Attendees can expect to learn about the vegan and zero-waste lifestyle, as well as discover new products and practices in a welcoming and empowering environment. The festival will showcase a variety of products, including natural cosmetics, organic clothing, eco-friendly hygiene products, and healthy food and beverages with a low ecological footprint. In addition, handmade jewelry, gifts, accessories, and homewares will be available for purchase.
A special focus will be placed on women-owned businesses that produce certified ecological products, highlighting their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. The festival is organized by the volunteer group Vegan Fiesta Hellas, with the support of the Rural Development and Food Ministry and the Athens Municipality.
