An Evening of Music and Dance
Join the festivities on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, starting at 22:30, at the vibrant Agora. An unforgettable evening awaits, hosted by the talented singer and actor Jerome Kaluta. The musical lineup features the multi-talented Ian Stratis, who promises to captivate the audience with his energy and remarkable stage presence. Known for his ability to blend various musical genres, including pop and rock, Ian Stratis will deliver dynamic performances, turning the concert into an extraordinary musical celebration.
Countdown to Midnight
As the clock strikes midnight, visitors will enjoy a spectacular fireworks display illuminating the Attic sky and welcoming 2025 with vibrant colors. This moment also marks the start of the SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), a beloved tradition celebrating the new year with fitness and community spirit.
A Disco Party with Nicola Lavacca
Simultaneously, a major party featuring legendary DJs will unfold at the Agora. This year, the renowned DJ Nicola Lavacca, a pioneer of the Greek clubbing scene, will take the stage to deliver disco moments in an authentic party atmosphere that will last into the early hours of the new year.
Family-Friendly Festivities
The night also features the impressive choreographies of the Dancing Fountains at the Canal, which include 59 vertical water jets , adding a mesmerizing visual element to the celebrations. The enchanting Ice Rink and Stavros Niarchos Park will be open until 02:00, providing a magical space for ice skating and enjoying stunning Light Installations. Delightful treats and surprises will further enhance the New Year’s experience at the SNFCC.
About the Performers
Ian Stratis is a versatile artist known for his captivating performances and diverse musical background. He rose to fame through his participation in talent shows and has starred in various musicals, including Evita and My Fair Lady. Ian Stratis is also a member of the alternative rock band Ayfel.
DJ Nicola Lavacca, a legend in the Greek music scene, is renowned for shaping the country’s club culture and has a career spanning over 45 years. He has worked with international music icons and continues to influence new generations of DJs.
