The list is completed by Alonissos with its wonderful natural marine park, Agistri which combines city and sea, Milos with its eerie landscapes, Patmos with its impressive beaches, Kythira with its wild natural beauty, Kastellorizo for explorations at the edge of Greece, Serifos for couples, and the “delicious” Sifnos with the gastronomy festival held every September. Representatives of the destinations in the list set the tone for this year’s season:

Quality services without unreasonable costs, local cuisine, stunning exotic beaches, diving, nature-loving, and trips to the marine park are our ‘passport’ for a place on the ‘map’ of international non-mass destinations. The awards we have achieved this year in popular foreign media outlets demonstrate Alonissos’ openness to new and established markets that show their preference for 2024,” said the President of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality of Alonissos, Diogenes Theodorou.

The continuous alternation of mountainous landscapes with virgin beaches, gastronomy, and the variety of villages, monasteries, and paths offer a different perspective of the Cyclades. Visitation has increased outside the high season, a trend we seek to maintain,” added the Appointed Municipal Tourism Advisor of Andros, Nikos Moustakas.
Positive messages are coming in for the tourist season in Sifnos. Gastronomy along with pottery, nature, trails, sea excursions, and traditions are the ‘DNA’ of the destination. We give weight to cultural, athletic, and gastronomic initiatives that contribute to extending the tourist season, such as the Cycladic Gastronomy Festival of Nikolaos Tselementes,” emphasized the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of the Municipality of Sifnos, Yannis Rafeletos.
