My name is Andriana Mitrakos, and I am a Greek-American psychologist in Athens, Greece. I received my Psychology degree from Northwestern University in the United States, before moving to Greece and completing my masterโs in Clinical Cognitive Neuropsychology at the Scientific College of Greece. During my clinical practice, and within continuing studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, I had the opportunity to gain experience working in public and private centers.
Early in my work, I provided counseling for international high school and college students, elderly patients struggling with geriatric depression and anxiety, and families of seniors with various forms of dementia.
Along the way, I worked with expats & digital nomads adjusting to life in Greece, as well as with entrepreneurs taking on new adventures, balancing work and life, and learning to avoid burnout. Relating deeply to this community as an expat and freelancer myself, I now offer 1-1 online and in-person sessions for those interested in reconnecting with their true selves.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I am also a filmmaker, sailor, and music lover appreciating the artistry and beauty in everyday life.
It is an honor to work with individuals through the exciting, sometimes uncomfortable, but ultimately hugely rewarding process of personal evolution. If youโre interested in getting started with therapy, letโs set up a free 15โ chat to see if weโre a good fit!
