The International Music Academy of Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses (MAAKSS) is excited to announce its fifth annual Master Classes event!
The historic Anargyrios and Korgialenios School on the beautiful island of Spetses (AKSS) will once again host this unique musical encounter, providing young musicians with the opportunity to broaden their skills and develop artistically.
This year, the Music Academy of Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses (MAAKS) continues to operate as an international educational institution. Students and young musicians will have the chance to attend Masterclasses led by renowned music teachers, enabling participants to perform in concerts while enjoying the island’s enchanting atmosphere.
Founded in 2021 during the pandemic, the Music Academy of Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses has offered participants a unique opportunity to enrich their knowledge with globally acclaimed instructors. Each year, the program is artistically enhanced with more instruments being added to the Masterclasses. Since its inception, talented young musicians from over 30 countries have attended. Over the years, the Academy has hosted both the Megaron Concert Hall Camerata Orchestra and the Athens State Orchestra, allowing soloists from the Academy to collaborate. For the past two years, students have formed their own orchestra, which performs in the Academy’s closing concert.
