Indian Cultural Classes Online: Dance, Music and Art Courses Open to Learners in Greece

The Embassy of India in Greece has shared a new opportunity for learners in Greece to explore Indian culture from home. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations, in collaboration with Routes 2 Roots and U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, is offering international online classes in Indian cultural and performing arts, starting in July 2026.

The programme includes online one-year courses in Indian dance, music, theatre, painting and calligraphy. It may be of interest to international families, students, members of the Indian diaspora, ICCR alumni and anyone in Greece looking for a creative way to connect with India’s cultural heritage.

What courses are available?

The online programme includes a wide range of Indian cultural disciplines, from classical dance and music to folk dance, theatre and visual arts.

Courses include: Bhangra, Calligraphy, Theatre, Madhubani Painting, Hindustani Classical Vocal, Tabla, Bollywood Dance, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Odissi.

According to the announcement, the classes are designed to help learners experience the richness of Indian cultural heritage through an interactive digital platform, with instruction from experienced teachers.

Fees, format and registration

The full-year fee is USD 175, with quarterly instalments available. Recorded course options are also available for selected levels, offering additional flexibility for learners who may not be able to attend every live session.
