Are you searching for a meaningful way to give back to nature and make a lasting impact on the environment? Look no further than We4all, a non-profit environmental and humanitarian organization committed to planting trees in Greece and abroad. Their goal is to restore damaged ecosystems and support local communities. With the mission to help Earth heal and remind people that this planet is our home, We4all invites you to join them in creating a greener, more sustainable future for all.
We4all: A Beacon of Hope and Action for Environmental Restoration
We4all was co-founded by John Iliopoulos and Antonis Bogdanos in the aftermath of the devastating fires in Mati, Greece, in 2018. They emerged from a deep desire to heal their community and the environment. Recognized today as an official partner of the United Nations and the European Climate Pact, We4all actively addresses the growing environmental challenges facing our planet. By spearheading efforts primarily in Greece, but also internationally, the organization engages local communities in tree planting and sustainable practices, fostering resilience and collaboration to combat ecological degradation.

Strategic Areas of Focus
We4all operates through six main areas, reflecting a multi-faceted approach to environmental restoration:
- Green Planet: Planting trees and restoring forests in Greece and around the globe.
- Green Future: Educating young minds about environmental stewardship, ensuring future generations effectively address climate issues.
- Green Hope: Promoting inclusion by engaging marginalized groups in environmental initiatives.
- Disaster Relief 360: Providing swift support to communities affected by natural disasters.
- Forest Protection 360: Implementing fire prevention strategies and conducting clean-ups to protect forests.
- Green Hub: Offering tailored workshops for companies to enhance their understanding of environmental responsibilities.
The Scale of the Crisis
The urgency of We4all’s mission stems from alarming statistics about deforestation. Currently, 46% of the world’s forests have been lost. Every day, around 80,000 acres disappear—equivalent to a soccer field lost every 1.2 seconds. Moreover, the planet emits approximately 42 billion tons of CO2 annually. Clearly, we face a critical turning point in the fight against climate change.

Achievements to Date
We4all’s efforts have yielded remarkable results. As of now, they have successfully planted over 3.1 million trees. These contributions not only restore ecosystems but also significantly aid in CO2 absorption. Thus, We4all filters an estimated 189,863 tons of CO2 daily while releasing about 713,219 tons of oxygen. Furthermore, the organization has mobilized over 1 million participants worldwide, demonstrating the power of collective action in tackling environmental challenges.
